Baseball's Negro Leagues

Today's news (on WNN) that ballplayers' stats from the Negro League days will be included in baseball's
official records is welcome. I wonder what will become of the Negro Leagues museum in Kansas City, though.

One of my regrets is that ...

1995ish I worked at a copy/print shop
in Manhattan. A customer came in with
a big bunch of documents from earlier
in the century which were...

.. were.. a collection of files and photos
and player cards from the Negro League days,
which he was copying to use as doumentation
for his colleagues to prove they had been in
the groups and were (they hoped) in line to
get medical coverage.

I wish I'd have asked him if I could make a set.

Why would you think this would have any effect on the Negro Leagues museum?

(There are already Negro Leagues artifacts at the Baseball Hall of Fame, and Negro Leaguers have been enshrined there already. In fact, the Negro Leagues museum will tell you that they're expressly not a "hall of fame," because that's in Cooperstown.)
