Today I got laid off at HuffPost, after a decade of work I am so
incredibly proud of. I am one of 47 of my deeply, beautifully, funny and
talented and wonderful and kind colleagues who lost their jobs today.

I'm the most sad that we can't all hug each other. (Also... hire me?)

Yeah, I got laid off from the Sinclair station in Providence last week after 23 years.

As John Cafferty and Beaver Brown once said, "things are tough all over".

And I resigned yesterday after 16 years at my station - mind you, my manager was taken aback and sounded almost gleeful as she accepted the letter...
