Copyright Clearance Center

Hello All,

We're considering dropping Copyright Clearance Center for the upcoming fiscal year. Before we do, I'd like to know from all of you a few things:

1. Do you have Copyright Clearance Center?
2. What do they charge you?
3. What is your FTE?
4. If you don't have CCC, what do you use? Do you have an individual in the library who handles those inquiries?

Hi Nancy-

I know we have used CCC at Bay Path, but I do not know if we actually
subscribe to them. Miriam Neiman is the person that handles CCC for
us. I can ask if she can answer your questions if you like.

Hi Nancy,

We subscribe and pay $16,000 annually.  The fee is actually not paid by the Libraries; the fee is paid out of the Dean of Faculty Office.  It's based on number of students and we have 2000 students at Williams College.
