Something I noticed: when you’re listening in studio a program, one sounds a whole lot better than the external signal, leaving the volume difference aside.
Should we revisit how we process the signal?

I just did an experiment with a live band and ext 1 sounds pretty damn good! So I think it’s entirely mix dependent. The limiters/compressors will cut low end and raise treble which will make some music sound worse but probably helps with FM broadcast clarity.
