Just shotgunning this out to whatever email addresses I have. This
website is an effort to make finding vaccine availability easier. You
give it your zip code or your county and click the "Check for updates"
button and it shows you who's got anything available. The available
slots don't last very long.

I was feeling pretty dubious when the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were
first coming out. It all sounded like some kind of warp speed
corporate corner cutting PR bullshit, but then I began to learn how
the vaccines worked, and how they were building on earlier research
into COVID type viruses, and the feelings of dubiosity lessened.

I still wish we knew more about long term effects and so on, but now
it seems better to get more people vaccinated and masked and
distancing and cut back on the opportunities for further mutations.

Be aware that despite good intentions this site only picks up about 2/3 of them. E.G., nothing in Anacortes when in fact Island Hospital and Safeway are both vaccination sites.

My wife and I have already had our two Pfizer vaccine shots. Very low side effects - about the same as a flu shot. Glad we have it now… “free at last?”… not quite, but better off than not having a vaccine.

Cheers,
Mac
