Cheers,
Mac Carter

We’re pleased to announce two new titles that give you early access to essential information about macOS 12 Monterey, iOS 15, and iPadOS 15 during the public beta period ahead of their official release. And we’d like to offer you the chance to save 50% when you purchase either or both of them:

Take Control of Monterey, written by yours truly, is a complete introduction to the many new changes in macOS 12. As we did last year, we’re combining the instructions for upgrading to Monterey and using Monterey in one book. It contains complete details on all the new apps, features, and other changes in Monterey, including some that won’t quite be ready in version 12.0 but will appear later this year in an update to Monterey.

Book Cover
Take Control of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, by Josh Centers, introduces you to all the new and improved features in Apple’s mobile operating systems, as well as giving you a refresher course in iOS/iPadOS basics. Learn about Focus; new tools in FaceTime, Messages, and Maps; improved iPad multitasking; Live Text; and much more.

Book Cover
Because you purchased a previous version of one or both of these books, we are offering you a special price: save 50% off the cover price. Plus, once Monterey and iOS 15/iPadOS 15 are officially released, we’ll publish free updates to both books, to cover whatever changes between now and then.
We have many additional updates planned for the next few months. Among other titles, we’ll be updating Take Control of iCloud, Take Control of Apple Mail, Take Control of Shortcuts, and Take Control of Your Online Privacy to support the new operating systems. We’ll be in touch again soon!

Warm regards,

Joe Kissell

Thanks Mac.

I know that my sense of time elapsed is pandemically distorted, but I
was wondering recently if maybe Whatmug had disappeared into history
while I was trying to assimilate the meaning and relevance of what's
going on in the world.

Ben,

Faded into history seems accurate. There doesn’t seem to be any interest among the members of this list in any kind of dialogue any more.

Cheers, Mac
