The wxforum.net domain name is being transferred from one registrar to another. It is down temporarily. I will be back withing a few days.

Looks like January 25th for transfer completion. But it may take up to 24 hours after than for DNS to propagate.

Mr. Anderson, what good is an IP address if you are unable to speak [to other users]?

Geez they are having a heck of a time switching domain servers and their hosting setup.
What's amazing is the system he switched 'to' in spinning up his own server seems like really tiny hardware (2 cpu, 2GB RAM, 60 GB SSD) but it sure is snappy now. They'll get there. Amazing it takes a week to do a domain registrar transfer. Last time I did it, it took under a day.

When we decided to host weewx.com ourself, it took about 20 minutes to do the DNS switch. We're still working on the website.
