I've just released WaveSurfer 0.982.  You can get it here:

Hi, we are now running WaveSurfer 0.982 in Matlab 2016b. 

Will it be possible to zoom in more interactively in the main window to see the traces in detail?

So far it is only possible in the y axis using the zoom buttons on the right part of the window.

I think it would be possible to have a UserClass that does this (or at least this is how I was trying to handle this for looking at the last sweep in a series of sweeps)?
