Can you post the screen output of CMake?

(All of the outputs in your CMakeError.log are things that are allowed to fail.)

It turns out that the issue has already been resolved by switching to spack.

Great, please let us know how the spack experience goes. And if
something goes wrong, just file an issue against spack.

Also if you don't want the most bleed-edge version of votca, I add the
"stable" version to Spack a couple of days ago:
$ spack install votca-csg@stable
