Seeing AI version 5.5 is in the app store

I'm pasting below the description from the app store. I like this new layout and improvements.

 

• We have updated the Seeing AI interface to make it faster to access the features you use the most. • The app is split into three tabs: • Read: Provides tools for reading, combining the functionality of the previous Short Text, Document, and Handwriting channels. • Describe: Provides rich descriptions of your surroundings, or photos already on your phone. This combines the functionality of the previous Scene and Person channels. • More: Provides access to all the other task-specific channels. • Plus, various bug fixes under the hood.

I really like the sound of this new interface. It seems far more organized and user-friendly.

It depends.

If you do your updating and it doesn't update, then go to updates, my account, and do a three finger swipe down to refresh the screen.  It should show up then if it hadn't before.

Then you can update it.

I went into the App Store and had 14 updates and sure enough 5.5 was in there. So it updated on his phone and I didn’t have to go searching for it. Now I’m going to check it out. So far it looks good.I
