I might have something to say if you post a proper problem report. You can find out how
to do that by starting here:

https://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/BzPLK2YyL-s

You'll probably want to bookmark that for future reference. I recommend you read that
entire thread, if not now, eventually. As you read through that, you'll come across 2
references on the topic of how to post a proper problem report. You can skip to those
references quickly by doing a string search on "problem report" in there. That will
reposition the web page to the 2 references. There's a link in each reference that you
should click. Read what you find & follow the advice. Once we have a proper problem
report, we might be able to make some progress here.

What does Doesn't seem to be working mean ?

I went on there and downloaded a couple things, this being for free to play content. So it works ,maybe there is premium content which you have
sign in on that it has the trouble on. Perhaps this premium content is protected by DRM. I can't verify any of that, you have to tell us specifically
what the problem is and provide a url if possible.

If your having trouble downloading audio you can install Audacity and set it up to record from the WASAPI layer on Windows Vista or later, it records bit perfect and you can edit any extra audio out  before or after what you want and export the final edit as any audio format, much of my song collection was gained this way.

I have used Audacity but it has the annoying requirement that I have to somewhat dumb
down my hardware audio settings to get it to work. I have discovered that OBS can do the
job without my having to adjust my audio settings. I know, a screen recording
application is a bit of overkill for recording just audio. But after the fact, I can
just extract the audio track with ffmpeg, which also lets me trim any excess from the
resulting file.

But I don't think that's what is going on here. I admit that's a guess since the
original poster has not graced us with a clarification of his issue. But I suspect there
is something else going on here that can be solved with the help of neither Audacity nor
OBS. All we need is a reply from the original poster.

Do you know why you have to change audio settings to get Audacity to work? has always worked straight out of the box for me, change settings setting to "Audio Host" set to "Windows WASAPI Layer" and from memory that's it

I happen to have a surround sound audio adapter integrated onto my motherboard. Audacity
just doesn't support that. OBS does. I kept getting error messages when I had things
set as I usually do & discovered by experimenting that dropping it down a level didn't
work, then dropping it down another level didn't work, & finally I found a combination
that Audacity was happy with. The settings in my Sound control dialog offer 9 options
with various bitnesses & sampling rates. There's 4 options of 2 channel stereo, 16 bits,
audio sampling rates ranging from 44,100 Hz to 192,000 Hz. There's 4 options of 2
channel stereo, 24 bits, same range of sampling rates. Then there's the one labeled DTS
Interactive (5.1 Surround). The last one is the one I normally have it set to but
Audacity just doesn't work on that. It also doesn't like any of the 24 bit settings.
The best I was able to use with Audacity was 16 bit, 96,000 Hz. OBS just takes the
Surround setting & runs with it.
