Hi all,

I would like to edit a vagrant guest VM using the programs in my vagrant host machine.
So I used the sync folder option by adding that line in the vagrant file:
 config.vm.synced_folder "/net/u/mah/Tacker_guest_
machine/", "/opt/stack/tacker"

when I do vagrant up, it should be shared in the /Tacker_guest_machine dir, but I did not find anything. So how to solve this issue ? or if there is other ways to    edit directly the files from my host machine ?

Thanks
Ahmed

Hello,

The mount will place a new directory from the host on the guest.

If the folder in the host is empty, on the guest you will see an empty folder.

Think in this way: You have a project code and you want that code into
the guest.

So on the first time, you would require to copy files in that directory.

Thanks
Alvaro.
