Keeping the option to disable leaptiering for next releases

At Cloudflare, we are seeing lots of crashes and assertion failures, when running with our configuration: compressed pointers, many isolates and threads, no sandbox. It's not one particular place. We haven't managed to reproduce this in plain V8 yet without our embedder.

It would help reduce the pressure if we knew the no-leaptiering option was still available in 13.5 and 13.6 so we are not debugging with a sharp deadline.

Hi Yagiz,

it would certainly be good if you can migrate soon. The main problem is that we are currently not thoroughly testing the non-leaptiering configuration anymore. Neither for bugs, nor for performance.

That said we won't rip it out for 13.5.

If you have some crashes you can share with me off-list I can maybe also give you pointers on where to look for the issue.
