South Austin Squash Ladder / Box

Hi everyone,

Good news – our squash league will be starting back up soon. We’ll be using US Squash’s clublocker to record scores and manage the box leagues. Before jumping right into box leagues though, we will be doing a challenge ladder for a couple of weeks to help set up the box league. Here is the link to the challenge ladder: https://clublocker.com/ladders/1048/standings . If you’d like to participate in the box league please sign up for the ladder.

Rules for ladder:
1) You can challenge up to 3 spots above you.
2) You CANNOT decline a challenge from someone below you.
3) Normal best of 5; games to 11.
4) Ladder matches can start this weekend 6/5

We will be running the challenge ladder for 3 weeks until the official start of the box leagues on Saturday, July 3rd. Do your best to schedule and play as many matches before 7/3 as you can. Just before the league starts, we will set up the box leagues based on the ladder results and go from there. Let me or Jesse know if you have any questions or concerns. Looking forward to starting the league back up!

No, they don't. At least not until the fall semester, we were told.

A bunch of us have jumped ship to Life Time. No restrictions there due to Covid and the courts are nice (and so is the outdoor pool with water slides). As a courtesy, people who come play should be vaccinated.

Some of us have taken advantage of the referral bonus for new members by doing a sign-up chain (highly recommended). Takes a bit off the pain from the hefty LT membership fee.
