Totally unbelievable that it has been 24 years since KS-W was executed by Abacha, the then military dictator of Nigeria (I don't believe he was executed by the State, as stated in the interview). My question to myself, and to anyone who cares to hearer that matter, is this: what "value-added" can we ascribe to this man's death in the on-going struggle of the Ogoni and of "radical" activism in the nation? The answer, my friend, is probably still blowing in the wind. Just curious, sha!
