to dialogue, ya
Some hours ago, we lost Professor Samuel Ade Ali, one of the former students, colleagues and friends of Professor Segun Ogungbemi. I know him as kind and generous.

Professor Ali was an erudite philosopher in the Department of Philosophy, Olábisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye.
He had served as Head of the Department and Dean of Faculty of Arts for several years.

He was at Adekunle Ajasin University on Sabbatical for over a year and when he wanted to go back to Ago-Iwoye, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Femi Mimiko, was willing to retain him due to the quality of services he rendered under his administration.

Professor Ali was a humble man and very jovial. He was fondly called Issue, Olorun Iye because of his usual way of responding to issues and jokes.

He was an Ago-Iwoye High Chief, a honor for the recognition of his dedication to service in his community.

He was married with children.
May his soul rest in perfect peace with his Ancestors.

Notes modified by correspondence with
Segun Ogungbemi.

So sorry to hear. May all those left behind be comforted.
