Four students and let's get started...

I have been speaking to the student affairs and other representative of University of the People.

It appears nothing has been done towards actually creating the ACM chapter for UoPeople.

I am taking over.

I need three people who are currently ACM chapter members or willing to be.

Once I have the three people, I will have the four names to supply to them and then we can get started. The four people will be sharing roles until more have become available.

Until it is established, no work for the chapter has been official in their eyes.

I will make everything official and get it started if it's the last thing I do.

Give me three other names and I will fund their ACM membership for the first year.

Bare in mind, the three people along with myself have to agree to take on the duties of multiple roles for this time period of a year and fund the years following through their own accord.

All these efforts are to get the chapter up and running. Everything can be reviewed in a year's time...

That's great news. Thank you for responding.

Everyone is busy including myself so the hours will fluctuate here and there for everyone. The main thing I am trying to avoid is the stagnation that has been plaguing the grouping thus far.

The infrastructure for the website and forums can be either created from scratch or transferred across from a previous resource I have in place. The main halting point for me was the design was never finalised even through constant requests. A design for all pages down to the fine point needs clarification. If the website has to be developed from scratch, it will have to be a piece meal job as I have not got the time to undertake full blown development. The server can be setup not problem but development I can't get involved in. Time is simply not there.

That's two, only two more to go... Anyone? HELLO!!!

I will undertake the development if necessary but it will seriously extend the delivery time but at least the chapter can be created officially and then all actions are credible in the University's eyes.

Hi Sean,

If you would like my contribution, you can count me in. I've managed
to put together enough funds for at least the next term, thus, I can
be certain to be able to go online and participate in our chapter.

You wouldn't have to fund my membership, either, as someone has so
generously provided for it already from before.

One more person has to realise that opportunity at hand and decide to assist.
