What Colour ( Color to you ? ) is the Invasion T Shirt this year please ?
My 1972 Type 3 1600 Twin Port original Engine rebuild is finally nearing completeion by Chris McPheat, McPheat Automotive near Lancaster. It would have cost far less to buy a Reconditioned Unit but I wanted to keep the original from new Engine. It deserves it. I bought the Type 3 Auto Variant in March 1988. Never even had a Cylinder Head off since then, so long overdue !
Crankcase Line Bored. Crankshaft Polished. New Barrels and Pistons. 2 New Cylinder Heads. Con Rods Balanced and Little Ends re bushed.
You should see the Cars he gets in there. All ages, all makes, Rolls Royce, Bentley. He has a Customers Bristol ( 406 I think ) in there at the moment. Same Customer owns the very first Bristol with the Chassis Number 1
Regards,
Steve

Subject: [T3] Type 3 Invasion Charity update....
I thought this was worthy of it's own post.... As I mentioned in my Invasion summary, we raised $2464 through the Silent Auction, T-shirt sakes, and Sticker and Koozie sales for Joshua's Camp, a local Eau Claire and Chippewa County charity that supports families dealing with childhood cancers. This is the largest amount we have raised at an Invasion and brings our total raised at all of the Invasions combined to $14,644! I am incredibly proud of and humbled by the continued generosity of the Invaders donating items and bidding on them. Thank you all! This is just one more thing that makes it worth all the effort to put the Invasions on every other year. -- View 1996-2026 list archive: https://listarchive.vwtype3.org --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Type 3 List" group.
