Usually I try not to pay attention to or be bothered by this kind of shit. But Jesus Christ! Ventura County is at 99% capacity with ICU beds, California is preparing for a Red Alert in numbers of COVID dead, and I deal every day with the multiple, extreme, combat level traumatic conditions being experienced right now by this goddamn pandemic. The least these assholes can do is expose themselves to more virus in private.

JC literally had a physician (St. Luke) on staff, and I’m sure he (and He) would want KC and the Sonshine Band to wear masks….

PGage - while there is much praise for "front line medical workers" -- I'd like to state clearly that I consider your work part of that group.   I know your work is probably virtual now, but please know that every conversation you are having with someone during a session is helping them.

And, yeah, as for Kirk Cameron..... as @therickwilson says on his podcast.... F*ck that guy.

Thanks for that Doug. There are times it does feel we are helping, and others when it is hard to believe it. But at no time do I confuse what I do with the actual front line health care providers in this pandemic.

 I started this thread on a break after seeing a pt who is an ICU nurse, and is unable to even hug her own children after having had to tell the parents of a 16 year old boy that their son had died from COVID last night. This not the first pt she has had die on her over the last 8 months, but maybe one too many, and she just broke. I got more emotionally involved then maybe I ought have, then read the blurb on Cameron and snapped a little myself. I perhaps should apologize to the list for going over the top.

It's hardly over the top. All of these assholes need to get themselves stamped at these events, so that they can be denied care when they inevitably come down with the symptoms. I'll save my compassion for the people who didn't stand in front of the firing squad.
