Jerry Springer's courtroom show, syndicated by NBCUniversal, is done after three years--and we suspect Springer will take retirement instead of coming back to the talk show:

And "The Good Dish," the cooking show starring Dr. Oz's daughter that replaced his quack medicine show when he decided to run for Senator from Pennsylvania, is done after a half-season in syndication, seemingly because the Fox-owned stations decided to go with Jennifer Hudson's talk show from NBCU--Sony says it's looking to continue the show on cable or streaming:

Springer is 78 years old. If he wanted to restart his talk show he would have to find a producer, put together a crew, and negotiate a syndication deal with an obsolete format. Why would he bother?

Nellie noted in the article that Hudson won't be slotted wherever "Dish" was.

Was Daphne sold the Zoco production company outright when daddy left?   B

You can add Nick Cannon to that list.

Cannon’s show often plays in the locker room TV at my gym. He has zero interviewing skills, and is as generic a TV personality as Ryan Seacrest… doesn’t stand out… couldn’t pick him out of a lineup. Even Leno has stated that on a talk show, 90% of why people tune in is the host. Cannon is an utterly forgettable host.
