load_yaml failing

Hello,

I'm using the PYTHON STL client libraries to control a T-REX instance. Connecting works fine, but calling STLProfile.load_yaml gives me the following error: "from_json: missing field 'packet' from JSON". The YAML file I try to load is the one provided with T-REX: "cap2/dns.yaml". Loading a PYTHON style profile however seems to work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Each TRex mode of operation has different profile format. You tried to load STF profile in STL mode.

Try stl folder for STL profiles and try the manual for tutorials to better understand what you are doing.

Hi,

It is yaml file of stateful mode:

cap2/dns.yaml

For stateless, yaml should not be used, but Python files in stl directory.
