How to generate Ethernet over GRE packet using T-Rex? Integrate with stateful DHCP

Ethernet over GRE (EoGRE) is a tunneling protocol that enables tunneling of Layer 2 (L2) packets encapsulated in a Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) header over IP core networks.

Differentiate with normally GRE, the tunnel type of EoGRE equal to 0x6558.

Hopes T-REX can generate such format in an easy way and combine with stateful DHCP processing, then i can simulate the CPE bridge those wifi client traffic directly.

I'm aware of one team that implement that and didn't publish it yet. 

It wasn't so hard to add this support

Hi Karam,

I didn't use Trex to do EoGRE then, instead, just play iproute2 on Linux to test basic functionality.
