This is the best I could manage of Eddy Ave at Sydney's Central Station
last Monday morning with trams above and below.

The car in Eddy Ave is 057 and I think the one above heading for the
station concourse is 048.  Both are Alstom trams.

Sydney and Melbourne both have locations where this sort of pic is possible.

Where else?

Excuse my ignorance but where abouts in Melbourne can you get a picture like this?

Regards Geoffrey

That immediately came to my mind. The 1 passes over the 96, but I can't imagine how to capture that photo. A drone is needed.

Andrew.

Good one Mick!

I think I know where, but will leave it to others to do their own research.

Mal Rowe - who reckons the "over and under" trams pic would be a challenge.

The tunnel under the road is a bit too wide for a shot maybe unless a drone shot..

Ah yes, mixed up the type of vehicle on one leg. Apologies.

No-one seems to have risen to the challenge from Mick, so here's my guess.

The test track at Preston passes under the hump bridge over the railway
which connects St Georges Rd with High St.

I managed to get a tram beside train pic there once, but tram over tram
or the triple rail vehicle is a challenge to come.

Hmm. How about Park St and the 96? Just North of the Alber St crossing?

I did run through every tram route in my head and I couldn't think of the location but I did think it must be there. I am not familiar with the layout now.

Andrew.
