Trip to Central Namibia

Good afternoon All.

We would like to explore Namibia between Swakopmund and Opuwo. We have about two weeks.
I was attracted to the area by riverbed driving videos I have seen, but I do not know the area at all.

Suggestions about places to visit, roads to travel etc. would be highly appreciated.

We are planning this trip for May 2026. Is this a good time?

Dear Sirs,
I suggest do not lose the area of the Messum Crater.
We have done from Mile 108 but it can be done even vice versa.
In the area between Sesfontain and the Ocean great the Hoanib and Giribes Plains.
