Hi there

Can I confirm the support for skos collections in EDG for a taxonomy ?

Currently it doesn't look like there is any out of the box support in the UX for creating or viewing collections. Just checking there isn't any pre exisitng collection specific work (i've added a custom form property group as below) that I can turn on or extend ?

features I need are

1. creating collections - must have
2. adding members to collections - must have
3. viewing said properties or collections in forms - must have
4. viewing said collections in a tree viewer - good to have

For 1 , 2 and 3 I've created a custom form to show these in a new form group. So this is ok and more or less on a solution path.

But viewing the collections and properties isn't so straighforward. The taxonomy tree view is built for concepts. I've inspected the react js and can see this.

So far I can use a hack to view collections by making them also conceptschemes or concepts. But the former case is against skos disjoint contracts and overall a more dedicate solution might be best.

Any ideas please ?

Before we start to see if we can duplicate the taxonomy tree viewer to deal with collecitons ( I assume would be best in a separate tree viewer panel) is there any traps here ?

Many thanks in advance

Simon

In 6.4, there is an Associations tree panel that lets you navigate any relationships.

Just confirming that we don't have specific widgets or even property
shapes for skos:Collections. Once you have defined forms via property
shapes you should be able to edit them, at least in a Data Graph
(assuming skos:Collection is marked as graphql:publicClass). But doing a
clone of the tree for that sounds like an overkill, and I'd recommend
you await the upcoming beta with the new generic tree before sinking
time into that.
