Good fishing today!

I took my beautiful Virginia (now 4 years old) out today to a favorite little pond not far from our home to see if she could catch a few before it got too hot.  After assisting her on the first three, she went on to catch two more all on her own - cast, hookset, landing, and release.  While she has caught a few fish over the years with my help, these were the very first two she got all by herself.  Words can't describe how super proud of her I am!

That's amazing Dan!  Sure is a stark contrast to the pictures of you casting with VA as a bundle on your back.  If only trout grew that fast!
