So we finally got our skiff ready to launch yesterday. Assuming I can get on the water today and motor up towards Fletchers, are there still Shad to be had? New to Shad fishing, so any advice appreciated. Thanks!

Oh they'll be there.  Turbidity has been high since Monday, but the shad will be there.  Let us know how you do.

I don't know the size of your "skiff" but be careful with the river level.  It's below 5ft and dropping, so you should be ok, but if you are in a new boat that is hand powered or 10hp or less motor, just be careful.
