spot 10.  its a red number on the tree right side of that road after bridge 2.  There is a few camping spots right around it.  Personaly i think the best stretch of river is from that 10 up to the SNP park.  2nd best is from the  SNP park up to the Pres. camp.  If u need any better directions or questions shoot me an email ive fished that river to often.

Thanks,

Is there a permit required to camp in the wma?  I can't remember if there is, but I'm sure it's a paperwork exercise.

I've seen lots of fire rings around there so people obviously do it.

Nevermind -- you only need the permit if you do NOT have a fishing license -- http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/access-permit/

G is right on that.  I had a warden of some kind explain that to me.  You need a hunting, fishing or a wma access permit.  Dont forget if you cross into the SNP you need an extra licence.

Thanks,
