3 Dads, 3 kids.

We are planning on taking 3 kids age 11 fishing this Sunday.  One kid is coming off an epic trip where it was cast and catch trout.

Normally the Dads would wet wade the Potomac but with kids that seems a bit dangerous.  We don't mind getting wet.

Taking suggestions on Montgomery County or nearby locations.

The canal is too tight since the kids are gonna want to air out the fly lines vs. roll cast only.

Thanks.

Clopper lake is a good time. Lots of bass and bluegill for the little guys to pick off.

Might be a little far. But I took my lil bro out for his first time on the Rappahanock.  He was 11 or 12 at the time, hammered lik 25 small mouth on streamers.  Now he is hooked, but i fished that area for a few trips so i had a game plan before I brought him.
