Hello dearest Thinkwalker!
Three opportunities:
1) June 29th, Saturday (ONLY 3 SPOTS LEFT)
Dune History & Groundwater (Divis area)
10:45 a.m. at the Panhandle
End at 1 p.m. at Duboce Park
2) July 11th, Thursday (11 SPOTS LEFT)
Presidio Stream Hike - about 5 miles
9 a.m. near Palace of Fine Arts
Picnic stop for lunch (brown bag &/or shareables)
End 1:30 p.m. near Crissy Field
3) July 13th, Saturday (10 SPOTS LEFT)
Dune History & Groundwater (Stanyan area)
10:45 a.m. at the Panhandle
End at 1 p.m. at UCSF Parnassus
Maximum of 12 people per walk. I’ll let you know specific meeting spot once you sign up.
I will repeat these same walks another time this summer. Suggest a date if you like. Seriously.
At the end of your Thinkwalk, please make a donation on a sliding scale to support my work and keep me in SF. Suggested is $10 to $40 per person, based on what you can afford, to be paid by Venmo, cash, check, PayPal, 24 carrots, radishes, etc.
Larger donations not connected to a walk or map are tax deductible through my nonprofit. Ask for details.
And don’t forget—you can request a Thinkwalk for any day you want and I’ll post for others to join. It’s the best way to ensure you get a spot.

The June 29 walk is now full. There are spaces left on the other two walks, July 11 and 13.
If you didn’t get in on it and want to do the Divisadero area dune & water topic (the topic from June 19th walk), suggest a date you’re available.

* I am trying to introduce improved SF season terminology: Foggin (ending in Fogust); Septober; Surprise. In general, we have three seasons by weather pattern. The four usual seasons still exist by astronomical measure.
