Vector Control Connect

I am wondering if the ACBA can reach out to vector control and connect with them about sending calls regarding honey bees to the acba, in the same way we refer cases, to them. that fall within their purview. I went to an extraction and had a person referred independently by vector control show up. It would be great if Vector Control could utilize the resource the ACBA presents. We're not just trying to get one guy some bees, we are trying, as a responsible community of bee keepers, to tackle a much larger bucket of bee related community needs. It would be helpful if we could work together and make the most of everyones time and resources. 

How would we go about building a stronger connection with them? Officially.

We get a few calls from home owners that were told to call the hotline,
and occasionally from Vector control personnel who call in a situation
on behalf of the resident.

In the past ten years they figured out we're there.
It seems to be ad-hoc rather than formalized.   I don't know whether the
rules constrain them from sending callers to service providers.
At least they try to get the honey bee issues routed to a beekeeper.

I  have a ongoing conversational relationship with the guy from vector control who does oakland area.  I can call him and ask what is the formal response
