TakeStock 2 Release 76 available

TakeStock 2 Release 76 has been released.
 
This version contains the following fixes:

• [Issue #281] When creating a snapshot for a specific date, the application unnecessarily retrieves historical prices for securities that are no longer held on that date.
• [Issue #282] The Price Finder tool sometimes displays the error message “Input string was not in a correct format.” for securities that are no longer traded.
• [Issue #283] The application crashes when using the File | Backup Database | To File command to backup the database to a file that already exists. No data loss occurs.
• [Issue #284] The application contains a few obsolete references to HTTP URLs.
  

To upgrade your copy of TakeStock 2:

• If you're currently using TakeStock 2, do Help | Check for new version to upgrade.  This command works for both standard and portable installations.

Hi Ravi,

I got a virus message also, but only related to the Portable archive, not the .msi installer.

The virus, reported by Windows Defender, was:

Trojan:Script/Wacatac.C!ml

That's a false positive.

If you're not comfortable downloading the TS2 installer or portable .ZIP
file, you can instead upgrade your copy of TS2 by doing Help | Check for
new version.
