Hello dear sympy community,
I'm luca-berton1 on github and I was scrolling through the gsoc project ideas list and two of them caught my interest:

1) project on ode's
2) project on polynomial gcd

Since I saw discussions on this mailing list about the gsoc ideas list and how it was partially outdated, I wanted to ask:
are these projects still of interest and relevant for sympy and gsoc?
Is there anyone willing to mentor these projects?
are there relevant updates or work that has already been done on any of these projects that I should be aware of? Or are the project descriptions regarding these two still up to date ?

Thank you for your time, Luca Bertoni

Improving polynomial GCD is definitely an open project. I would be
willing to mentor that if there was a suitable candidate.

I'm not sure what ODE project you are referring to.

Thanks for the answer,
This is a link to the ode project that appears in the list:

And also regarding the GCD project, i read your issue : https://github.com/sympy/sympy/issues/23131.
Have there been significant changes one who is interested in the project should know about or is that issue still an up to date description of the problem?
Best regards, Luca Bertoni
