the deadline to submit proposal for GSoC

Hi,

I'm a student who is looking to contribute to SymPy at GSoC,

I wanted to know what is the deadline to submit a proposal , because at google's timeline page the deadline is 19.4 but at SymPy's GSoC student instructions the date is 13.4

Google's instructions are correct. I forgot that we had the date on
our page from last year that needed to be updated.

Sir Aaron,

Does SymPy have some tasks which needs to be completed before applying to GSOC? (After taking a look at some questions regarding GSOC on Google Groups for GSOC I think some organizations have some tasks.)

Yes, we have a patch requirement, meaning you need to have at least
one pull request to SymPy submitted and merged.
