No/little wind yet today and lots of weekend powerboaters

I’ve been looking at everything I can about the boat, and I noticed that my (ex- Roy Ballentine) boat is not listed on the website. Does it have a number? Do we have class dues or any sort of registration process?

I also did some light internet stalking of the listed class members in CT. It looks like there [was] one IN my tiny little town of Collinsville! Sadly, it also looks like he may have died a couple years ago, but I’m hoping that that’s wrong. Does/did anyone know Art Bedard?

We tend to pay class dues just before sailing NA's. Just noting here, that this is a bad habit we have. The end result is that the only people who pay are the ones who show up and participate in NA's. Class dues are $55 and should be sent to Robert Harper. His address until quite recently was:

302 Timberlake Estates
Heber City, UT 84032

I am aware that Robert is moving, so wait until we have address confirmation before sending class dues.

Hey folks - let's pay class dues this year!

Robert: Can you please confirm the address?

Paul: Can you please chime in about boat numbers? You are better qualified to answer boat number questions.

Personally, I haven't heard of Mr. Bedard, but I'm aware that there were many sets of plans that were purchased from which boats were never built. So, just because a boat number and builder name was listed, does not necessarily mean that there is actually a boat there, and some were only partially completed.

Your class president - Philip Ryan

P.S. Thanks Keith for reminding us to pay class dues!

Sorry guys, if I pointed out to the teacher that he should ask for our homework. 😂

Robert, is there a PayPal option or equivalent? I don’t have cheques and I hesitate to ask my wife (who is at home working while I’m at the lake) to pay for my sailing.

Sorry. We don't have an online way to pay dues. As a very small group,
where maybe up to ten people pay dues, it isn't all that economical.

A money order from WalMart or the grocery store service desk will work too.

Hi All,

While not participating, I have been watching the conversations on mast track attachment and how to sail a swift. … all very helpful - thank you!

I am happy to pay class dues to help keep this great sailing fraternity alive and active. To this end, paypal is a definite option. It costs nothing to have a private account and nothing to transfer money within a country (and a fee for outsiders like me of 4% about the exchange rate which I am more than happy to pay). So if who ever collects the money (Robert?) can set up a (private - not business) paypal account, paying online will be a possibility. Just a thought …

Regards,
Graham (AUS 077)
