Len Walther has passed

We’ve found out that longtime SVMUG member Len Walther died on July 19, after a long battle with leukemia.

Len worked as a Silicon Valley real estate agent, and was an active attendee at the SVMUG meetings over the last 20 years. He frequently collaborated with the group to maintain his Parallels and Quicken 2007 software. We received many an article from him for the monthly news — often posted by the Macalope — pointing out the wild and weird world of Apple’s industry.

No mention has been made yet for where sympathies or memorials would go, but Len’s wife Carol may be watching his email. I’ll let the group know if any further information comes available.

Hello everyone- Len looked forward to your monthly meetings. He was planning to join your meeting on July 20. He loved all things Apple. I called him a Mac- aholic 🙂 

   Thankfully Len was never in pain just severely fatigued. 

    There will be no services but if you wish to donate please do. Leukemia Society; American Heart Association or whatever group you want to support.
