Perdix AI not recognized for download

My Perdix AI used to download fine via Bluetooth and then one day it just stopped.  I have a PC and was running 5.08.  I updated to 5.09 but still no luck.  I get the message "Unable to open COM 3 Shearwater (Perdix AI)".  Normally the "Choose Bluetooth download mode" box is checked but it no longer is.  When I checked it, the computer searched for Bluetooth devices but didn't find the Perdix.  

I can download via Bluetooth just fine on my other PC which is also running 5.09.  On it, the download via bluetooth box is checked.  

Any thoughts?

Well, you are on Windows and BLE support there is a bit more hit and miss.
Please read the user manual about forgetting the device and re-pairing it using Windows system tools.
Only when Subsurface can "see" the device in the "Choose Bluetooth..." dialog is there a chance for this to work.
And yes - this is a somewhat frustrating experience - but usually once it works, it keeps working.

(in general, I prefer downloading from BLE only dive computers on Android or iOS and using the cloud to transfer the dive data to a computer... there are just too many things that can go wrong on Linux, macOS and especially Windows)

Thanks.  It downloads fine to my android phone.  That's a good workaround when I'm travelling just with the laptop.
