Hello dear colleagues!,

I wanted to share with you that I'm stepping down as core developer of the Submariner project.

I'm switching projects in Red Hat (for selfish reasons mostly ;-) ). This is an amazing project, and a wonderful team, and I wish you the best. I will be around and ready for questions anytime you need it (i.e: why did you do this Miguel!?!... ) ;-)

I'm officially switching in October, so I'll leave it up to the existing cores to make it effective around time, or immediately (I will be available all September to help with reviews, project maintenance or anything necessary).

Best regards, and best of all luck with the project, you will have an evangelizer in me, I know how much hard work and good thinking is being done in this project! ;).

  I'll miss you folks!

Why did you do this Miguel! ;)

THANK YOU for everything you have done for the project and the community. I wish you all the best in your next project!

Hi Miguel,

Thanks for taking good care of Submariner, and best wishes on your new
project!

I think we can leave you as core developer until you effectively leave
the project, but I would like to start the process for choosing your
replacement.

I’m nominating Sridhar Gaddam (@sridhargaddam) to replace Miguel as
core developer on Submariner. I’ve cced all the other core developers
explicitly; please vote or suggest someone else!

Regards,

Stephen

Miguel,

It has been great to correspond with you and the rest of the Submariner team. It’s quite amazing to look and see how far you’ve brought the project into the “modern day”! Good luck on your next endeavor.

Sridhar should be a great replacement for Miguel on the team.

Thank you,
Chris Kim

Thanks Chris, and congratulations Sridhar!

I’ll take care of the various changes at the beginning of October.
