Can we set the CPU loading percentage for the stressapptest?

Hi, every expert,

I want to use the percentage value for the stressapptest as the stress-ng because we need to run the stressapptest in the background mode and run other commands in the foreground. Can I do it?

stressapptest doesn't explicitly support this.

For large systems, you can specify how many threads stressapptest runs, which determines the maximum number of cores it will use. 

Other tricks are using linux tools like nice or cgroups.

As NIck stated, there isn't an argument for percent usage of CPU
