Some early notes:

• I’m keeping the frontispiece, which has its own section in the Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simplicius_Simplicissimus#Frontispiece_monster
• Haven’t yet found any cover art
• Split into 5 books, 165k 
• The translator has deliberately left some chapters out as boring, and has partially translated some of a 6th book to prove how bad it is 😅

I’m in the proofing stage at the moment.

OK Emma, this is ready for review: https://github.com/robinwhittleton/hans-jakob-christoffel-von-grimmelshausen_the-adventurous-simplicissimus_alfred-thomas-scrope-goodri. Notes:

• This book is split into an introduction, 5 main books, and several appendices. The translator has declined to translate some of the work and added notes in those cases: I’ve marked them down as z3998:non-fiction. The most obvious is chapter-5-13-to-16.xhtml where four chapters are omitted.
• On that note, the title of that seems to trigger a bug in titlecase which I haven’t been able to track down, so I added an se-lint-ignore file to cope.
• Usually we’d remove “End” phrases, but these are part of the preceding sentence so I’ve left them in and styled to match the text.
• The frontispiece has a figcaption, which overflows onto the next page, as our full page figure CSS doesn’t allow for captions. I’ve left it like that for now, but we could try to improve it I guess?
• Please have a read through the Editorial commits to see if you agree with them.
• Transcription was in pretty good shape, ended up sending 19 errata back to PG.

Interesting. When I run `se titlecase` on that title, either from the command line or calling it from my editor, I get the whole string lowercased, including both of the roman numbers. Which still isn’t right, but is the opposite of you got.
