Having just finished a seafaring tale, I'd love to do another one -- Captains Courageous by Rudyard Kipling. It is THE great coming of age seafaring adventure novel.

It's on PG at https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/2186 . 

There's a scan of the 1897 edition on the Internet Archive at https://archive.org/details/cu31924013493246/page/n1/mode/2up .

The book has a number of illustrations of the story, but we can just leave those out.

Hi Emma, here's a mockup of the cover...

I'm plugging along on the proofreading, but just landed a writing assignment that's due in a week, so I'm setting further proofreading aside for a few days. I'll pick it up again right after I'm done with the writing gig.

Wait, never mind that! Here's an even better Winslow Homer image!

That painting is called "The Fog Warning" and is on display at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. It was painted in 1885, and here it is shown in a book of Winslow Homer's works from 1923....
