Indefinite stepgroup loop

Does anybody have an example of how this works?  It seems that putting -1 causes the step group to not show up in the session matching at all, so the program stops when it reaches that point even though I have a variable that is set to 1 for the strpgroup to run.  So clearly I am missing something about how to use this.  Thanks!

Hi Elena,

please check the session log and maybe also the application log for errors. If there is one maybe send it to me.

One potential problem could be that you are relying on the grouping while no grouping or at least no static grouping is available for an indefinitely repeated stepgroup. Sometimes SoPHIE makes seeing these error tricky because they only end up in the logs.

Yes, this is why I asked for an example.  That would be the easiest way for me to understand how this works, since you don’t provide any documentation.  The error message is:

• 2015-09-01 18:06:47 sync step 348: found empty group label

So pretty clearly there is no grouping for that step group that exists.  When I make a stepgrpup have indefinite loop, and create a grouping, there is no grouping that shows up for that step group.  I am attaching my treatment.

I also asked a question about dynamic sessions that was never answered.  In both cases, an example would be most helpful.
