Sonobus and Audacity?

Hi, did anybody get sonobus working with audacity as a plug-in? I tried the diverse vst and audio unit options (on mac) but I get chopped up sound.

I use 10.14.6 (Mojave)

Audacity 2.4.2

8-core MacBook-Pro 2019

Audacity is not designed for real-time use, it supports plugins
generally for offline processing purposes. There are other plugin
hosts that are much more suitable, most of them DAWs or similar. What
are your goals?

Hi Jesse,

Thanks for the quick reply.

We use audacity in a teaching environment for non music tech students. Sonobus seemed a nice way for them to work online and together on a project in real time without complicated routing, with good quality and in stereo.
