I need some help. My mom and I are trying to use Sonobus to practice together, but even though we're both connected to our private group, I cannot hear her. She shows up in the group, and she can hear me, but I get nothing. My audio interface is working, and I can hear myself. We're both on Macs. Any ideas? TIA!

OK, so it sounds like there could be a setup issue on your mom's side,
specifically with her inputs in the input mixer. Could you have her
take a few screenshots, one showing the Audio options (from the gear
button), and the other after she has pressed the Input Mixer button to
show that, on the main screen?

Thanks,
Jesse

I don't see any input meter activity in those shots... is it possible
that she has her input (mic, instrument?) plugged in on the second
input? In that case you would select 2 as the channel in the Input
mixer on the left. If that isn't the case, does she ever see input on
the input meters at the top?

In image 2 you could get her to click the test button and see if she hears anything. If she does then it could be a firewall/router issue, possibly upnp isn't turned on in the router
or if it's an old router it might not have it. But if she can't hear nothing when pressing test then it's a sound/device  issue.
