Me again.

I believe Sam's a TeamViewer fan. Wondering if there's something similar, perhaps free, but safe, for accessing Mac to Mac (office to home)

Don't want to download the first thing I find online eg. HelpWire

Thanks

I have teamviewer on a free account (not used it recently though, did they remove the free tier?)

Thanks,

They’re a bit more pedantic with the free tier now, and my license fee has tripled recently but unfortunately I’ve got all my clients using teamviewer so am locked in. There are other free alternatives but teamviewer’s the quickest to get installed for a new client so ultimately it saves me time.

Thanks, as ever.

We're a church/charity/non-profit and TeamViewer offer a discount, so I'll contact and see what's what.

Yes, I've read their article and Private Use really is just as it sounds - and so whilst it's only me helping me with a weekly task, it's indeed for a non-profit's activities and therefore understandably we'd need a license.

I've applied for the discount and will see.

Just feels safer to use tried and tested product than anything 'free' which presumably isn't ever that, or at least, one gets what one pays for!
