Hi Virginia,
Mine is a 2018 11” model and I’m surprised about how it still seems the same as it used to be for most tasks. It’s a little slower to wake than it used to be from time to time but otherwise still seems lovely and quick to me. You’ve not filled the storage have you?

Can you advise me which model to replace it with? Looking at site, the options are iPad Pro 2021 or iPad Air 2022. Advice would be much appreciated. Virginia
