Hi.

I’m puzzled as to why this is happening? Using Safari or Brave to try to find a met office forecast I get the message below. This is on my iPhone or my iMac.
I don’t use Google chrome so don’t understand why I am being told to clear cookies on chrome?

Thanks

Andrew.

Hi. I’ve just tried again using Google as the search engine this time and got this message.

Are you using any VPN software? Try rebooting your router and your Mac/Phone.

Could be a temporary issue between your internet provider and the Met Office’s, how long’s it been happening?

It’s only been happening today. It’s been fine always until today. I’ve no idea what VPN software is but if I am using any then I must have been for a long time as I haven’t altered anything.
I’ve tried a friends iPhone too (in my house so same router) and it did the same.

Andrew.

I’ve had Met Office on my bookmarks for years.  I’ve just tried it and got this error message IMG_0374

I get the same warning in Safari using “Search for a place” on the metoffice website.

I think it must be a temporary problem at the Met end in that case. Thank you.

I blame Putin. In taking down the Met office site he’s attacking the very heart of British culture :-)

And what can we talk about, if not the weather - he’s also disrupting our very conversations!

In my day we just had the weather we had, and talked about that!

The website loads for me on Safari by the way so maybe it’s fixed?

Yes, I tried it just now and it worked. Must have been a glitch which is now sorted out.

Thanks! Andrew.

Glad all resolved. The comments above are akin to a rather fun thread -  'Very British Problems'
