Is there any functionality or method that can be used to export any unstructured grid generated by MRST functions to a format that is recognized by ECLIPSE or Petrel?
If os, it makes it much easier to verify the results in a industry standard simulator.

Hi Reza,
There is currently no such functionality in MRST. I will happily assist you if you would like to have a go a creating it yourself. The MRST grid maintains few traces of any underlying Cartesian structure, so the best bet would probably be to output a fully unstructured view of the grid. I don't really know what restrictions such output would place on the environment into which you would like to import the result. I imagine that the simulations could run (ECLIPSE is supposed to be able to run using only the transmissibility graph and pore-volumes of the active cells, but I don't know if that is true), but visualising the simulation results might be more tricky.
Sincerely,
