Moving this thread to a formal ride call. (I moved folks to BCC and trimmed off people who said they could not make it or otherwise didn't respond on the original OT thread.)
By a rough count on the OT thread, we have about +10 so far(!).
Ritual Roasters Rollout, promptly at 6:50. Yes, that's later than the traditional 6:30 RRR, but Ritual stopped opening at 6, so we all got a bit older in the ensuing years, didn't we?
Traditional/canonical Bayway route including Feral Cat Freeway, though I reserve the right to redirect us onto surface streets if we are too big a group after the water stop.
Happy 20th, Bayway!

Original ride call from 2006 pasted below. Credit to Eli Dylan for being the first to +1 that ride.

I will lead a no-drop ride to work on Friday using my route along the bay. 42-ish miles. figure on 2:45 total ride time.
meet at 24th & Mission BART station on the NE corner at 6am. depart promptly at 6:05. call or text me if you have any questions: xxx
this is a much prettier ride than the standard Peninsula route, with a lot less traffic and traffic lights. think of it as the Skyline route without all the hills.

(does anyone know how to convert a KML file into something that renders in GMaps?)

One week to go!
Should I initiate
1-Week Get in Shape Project #230?
Style 3.8, meetup where?
+1. I'll either turn around at the water stop, or take Caltrain from somewhere. Mostly likely I'll follow my old pattern of missing the group at BBQ and chasing, but maybe I'll actually make it to the roll-out.
If any of you out-of-towners need to borrow a 52cm bike, drop me a line, I might have some options.

Wickman - what size frame?
I'm also in Boulder but there's a 50/50 chance I'll be in SF that week for work. Where do folks rent bikes or should I just steal and ditch a Baywheels?
What style are you thinking? I'd love to join but as I've done one real ride in the last 6 months I'm not sure I can keep up with anything faster than S3.
Oh man, 20 years! Unfortunately, I can't join the celebration this time, being firmly land locked in Boulder far away from any bay :) Thanks for calling this ride, and the one two decades ago Brett! This thread made me smile.

Holy shit, where did the time go? After SF I moved to NYC and Philly, took the bikes with me. Got suckered into racing and beginner coaching for many years, and now lots of mountain bikes, Shotgun seats, and cargo bikes with my two littles with some skinny tire speed occasionally. So yeah... I blame SF2G.
Happy 20th, friends!
I will cancel all my meetings (and Tuesdays are my meetings day) to do this…slowly (no sand bagging) and happily. Wish y’all could be here, Jason and SCrosby and Marion!

Aw rats! I’m going to be in London that day. I will close my eyes and daydream of the Feral Cat Freeway.
