Anyone considering going to LSA early?
Like on Tuesday?

By The Way… long term astropheric doesn’t look promising for Thursday night. Friday, Saturday looks reasonable… buts pretty far out on the forecast.

I think Pawan sent an email earlier today.

Unfortunately, I cannot head out earlier in the week. I plan to depart Thu evening and return home by Sat night or Sun morning at the latest.

If the weather at LSA is unfavorable later in the week, I may consider another location depending on the forecast. However, I prefer LSA for its convenience and predictability.

Clear skies to everyone heading out!

That's right, the thunderstorm conditions are passing the region. The chances are: it will move East or West past the LA area towards the end of the week.
Thus, I'm changing my plans and will drive out on Friday, possibly staying on Monday instead, depending on the closer forecast.

I will arrive Wednesday afternoon and stay through Sunday night, departing Monday morning.  Accuweather shows us getting sprinkled on Thursday 1 PM, finishing Friday 5 AM, total 0.4" precip.  Fri, Sat, and Sun nights look OK.
